The great thing about half hoop rings is that you can stack them onto your finger to make a nice display. One half hoop ring looks nice, but two, three or four makes a statement. All I have done for this post is group together different hoop rings into stacks to show you how good they look.

The three rings at the top of the post are one of my favourite combinations. Pearls and amethysts go very well together.

The two rings below are both Victorian. One has a central diamond with two sapphires on each side, while the other has a central ruby with two diamonds on each side. All are in simple claw settings.

Then below are three antique rings. The top is set with white opals and the middle is a five pearl setting. The bottom is a gold ring with lovely engraving.

The next three half hoop rings just show the versatility of pearl rings. The top ring is graduated while the bottom pearl ring has pearls of the same size.

Then, finally, there is a collection of green and turquoise set rings. The green stones on the left rings are emeralds while the green stone in the ring on the right is set with jade. The colours go together surprisingly well.
