In this post, I have three18th century pieces, one 19th century piece and some earrings from the early 20th century, all from Europe. The first piece, in the photo at the top of the post is a late 18th century Southern Italian (possibly Sicilian) gold seed pearl earring, later converted to a brooch/pendant. It has delicate and intricate seed pearl beading all over its surface.

The next piece is another late 18th century piece, possibly a former earring or section of a larger piece, now worn as a pendant. It is similar to pierced work from Spain but I have seen some pieces like it from northern Italy and France. It is made of silver and gold with natural pearls and foil back rubies.

The third piece is a 18th century diamond cluster ring from Spain. It is made of silver and rose gold and is set with early rose cut diamonds.

The fourth piece is a Spanish 18ct gold brooch from around 1870. It has a flower circle with a central diamond, surrounded by two decorated gold circles, finished with four flowers set with diamonds and three gold dangles at the bottom.

Finally, there are some Spanish 18ct gold dangle earrings from the early 20th century, each set with two cultured pearls.

The Georgian Spanish ruby and pearl pendant is super gorgeous.
